Sapphire-J Incorporated is comprised of the Entrepreneur, Author, Spoken Word Artist, Mentor, Fine Arts Facilitator, Motivational Speaker and Nation Builder. Léshea Jones aka ‘Sapphire-J’ was born in Nassau, Bahamas on the 26th of July 1988. She later relocated to the island of Grand Bahama in 1994 where she received her schooling. Sapphire-J discovered her talent and passion for writing poetry at the age of 13 which is when she also gave her life to Christ and committed to being a faithful servant in His vineyard.
Her talent and passion for writing played a significant role in motivating her to publish her first book of poetry "Wait! I Have Something to Say". After some years she was led to release her first official Spoken Word Album "Pen & Tongue" which will be released in the Fall of 2023 and her first Memoir "Rejecting Rejection" which will be released in the Summer of 2024.
Sapphire-J strives to ensure that each piece of work that she produces is different by adding a touch of her unique flair. One of her main goals is to allow her creativity to always be expressed through her various works. She also possesses a passion for song writing.
In 2013, apart from her solo ministry, she became the CEO & Founder of a remnant of young Christian poets like herself entitled "Pen & Tongue". In a three year span, the organization has put on approximately 15 spoken word events including one on the island of Grand Bahama.
This Gem has touched both the young and old ministering at major events such as Youth Alive 2013, 2014 and 2016, Fam Fest 2013, talent jams, Back to the Hymn concerts under her pastoral leadership of Bishop Denczil Rolle throughout the years of 2013-2015, and GUF Young Adults Ministry Launch 2015 just to name a few. Her drive and passion for ministry causes her to branch out from being a Spoken Word Minister to also a Motivational Speaker, Author, Youth Leader, Event Host and a Fine Arts Instructor to teach others interested in the fine arts department. As a result, Léshea has partnered with the US Embassy with developing a Poet in Residence Workshop within a local high school in 2015 in Nassau, Bahamas. This propelled her to launch aPoetry Club under the Development through the Arts Program in conjunction with the Ministry of Youth
Sports & Culture for high school and college students. This certified Youth Leader (under the Ministry of Youth Sports & Culture in the Spring of 2016) work however is nowhere near done. In 2016 she was led to launch an annual Gospel Artist Retreat for her fellow Bahamian Gospel Ministers for both Nassau and Freeport residents.

All in all, this Gem has surely been not only a voice, but also a source of inspiration and a breath of fresh air to a generation that is secretly crying to be heard. Her passion to mentor the next generation has surpassed her expectations because she solely believes that every young person has a purpose and all they need is one to properly guide and push them into the direction to discover their inner treasure. Therefore, it is Sapphire's desire that her artistic expression can serve as a constant source of hope and encouragement for those that need it most.
